Bryson Proctor

Bio

I’m a grad student in Textile Chemistry through the ABM program. My project focuses on osteogenic (bone) cell differentiation on a mineralized textile scaffold. The intended end-goal applications of this project is to aid in quicker bone repair post trauma to the tissue. This project brings together all of my interests – medicine, chemistry, biology, and material science – and allows me to impact the healthcare realm, which I feel prepares me for my future career in dentistry.
